Joaquin Araujo
Mr. Araujo farms,
writes and directs nature documentary films. His
lectures on ecology and his newspaper and magazine
articles aim at raising public awareness and protecting
the environment. He is the author of 16 books, some 400
articles and has given over 300 lectures to universities
throughout Spain. Araujo has directed several
documentary series for television, founded several
Spanish environmental societies and served as President
of the first State Centre for Environmental Education in
Spain.
